Vocational Schools Life
Student life in vocational schools varies according school types, since vocational schools are also categorized as traditional schools, vocational boarding schools and online vocational schools. Below are main characteristics as well life of students according to each category.
In a traditional vocational school setting, life could be more interesting as you can see crowded students trooping the school everyday. There are big colleges and universities that offer vocational courses. In these schools there are also a good number of enrolled vocational students. Traditional vocational technical schools are typical day and afternoon class institutions you can see around the world. Most vocational departments in these institutions are divided into sections since their population is usually big.
In the US and in other countries in Europe, vocational boarding type is very visible as compared to third world countries. This is an especially created type of boarding school to cater mostly to international students. Students live on campus dormitories or student villages and pay for board and lodging plus other school fees. Their teachers and some school staff also live with them in boarding schools – with the teachers taking charge of the academic requirements of students and other school staffs catering to students and their needs such as laundry, food, and others.
Third type is online vocational trade schools. International students whose parents cannot afford to send them into foreign countries for studies prefer to enrol them in online education. In this type of educational format, students only enrol online and attend classes also online. They can join online classes in their homes, office or while having a vacation in the province as long as they have their laptop computers connected with the worldwide web.
