Public schools also offer different education programs although they may not be as big as private universities and colleges. Public schools in the US and in many parts of the world only offer vocational, technical and education courses. However, there are also some colleges that offer medical and engineering courses.

National funded public schools

Public schools that are established by the national government and which receive national funding every month to sustain their operations are those that also offer vocational, technical, education, medical, engineering and business management courses. Since they have national funds taken from the yearly budget of the country, the government can easily put up public colleges in the country to welcome students after public high schools study. Any nation in the world has included education as part of their politic program to ensure that the constituents are educated. The government knew that education can help people get out from the bondage of poverty. In fact, it is a common notion that those that become highly urbanized and developed countries, were countries that gave priority to education.

In fact, you can see many countries that developed like Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Mexico and other countries that gave priority to education. A government has also hired the services of the minister of education to focus on the campaign.

Local funded public schools

There are locally-funded public high schools and community colleges that are only dependent on local funds. This is why they are only small community colleges with very few teachers. Public colleges of this kind only offer basic degree courses such as Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, business management and other course offerings.
