Art School Types
Find Art Schools in Your Area...
The study in art schools is also classified into types so that students can choose what particular classification they belong to. This is very important so that the knowledge you want to learn suits the fascination you may be good at.
The following are basic art school types you can consider if you are a student planning to enrol in art schools – whether traditional or online art schools.
- Visual art schools – These schools focus on the study of visual arts that are often immediately seen by the naked eye. The term “visual” connotes anything that is immediately and clearly seen. This includes the study in fine arts, painting, film making, and photography, design graphic, etc. In the United States and in other countries of the world you can enrol bachelor of Fine Arts or Masters of Fine Arts degrees.
- Fine Arts Painting – There are schools in the Us and in other parts of the globe that focus only on painting in their fine art, although fine arts schools are usually composed of small and bigger art schools. Smaller schools of fine arts in the US include Art Academy of Cincinnati, California College of the Arts, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, O’More College of Design, etc. For the bigger fine arts colleges we have Rhode Island School of Design, Maryland Institute College Art, Art Centre College of Design, College of Art and Design and more.
- Fine arts advertising – This study is targeted on commercial advertising such as billboard, brass signs, neon signs, plastic signs and all other art signs including computer technology design.
- Fine arts interior design – The study of interior design also connects with the designing of house interiors, space requirements, and physical arrangements of furniture, televisions, decoration in ceilings and all other items in the interior of the house.
